I visited JT's with a large group of friends on a weeknight. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Our group ordered salads, sandwiches, burgers and a kid's meal. I ordered a special of chicken fried steak which was exceptional. The meat was thick, and the breading was crisp with much flavor. Skin-on mashed potatoes, corn and a dinner roll finished the plate. I chose white gravy. I noticed the Reuben sandwich in particular looked great as well as the plate sized Cobb salad. The grilled cheese kids meal was beautiful with substantial white bread and a generous amount of cheese and a cookie to finish. Chocolate lovers cake was ordered and said to be delicious. I will recommend JT's and visit again.
Out from the kitchen comes the tasty and carefully prepared Wednesday homemade meatloaf special with a generous portion served with real mashers, green beans with great flavor and texture and warm brown gravy. Mmmmm! Pleasant wait staff and usually very short wait for your meal. Locally owned hospitality!
Updating March 2025: it was delicious and the place is very nice First time 2024: I had the Blue Cheese Hamburger with Fries and Diet Coke, I gotta tell you, God bless that restaurant, it was extremely amazing. It looks pretty sporty also. They also had a Pele-signed Jersey
The pork tenderloin sandwich was amazing, and the green beans were the best I ever had at a BBQ restaurant.
A very cozy bar with an interesting design, and in my opinion, the best in «De Soto». If you find yourself in the area, definitely stop by and enjoy the atmosphere! The menu isn’t entirely suitable for vegetarians, but you can still find something to your taste
Just moved to town and needed a quick bite to eat last minute. Placed an online order with JT's for curbside pickup. Process was super easy and didn't have to wait long when we arrived. Even more important is the food in this story. My Mushroom Swiss burger was amazing! One of the top three burgers I've eaten all time, especially with the side of gravy I added. My kid's chicken tenders were cooked to perfection too; crispy breading and juicy chicken. Highly impressed. We'll be back for sure!
I'm the one who left a two star review because of the ordering issues I was having. It wouldn't let me leave another updated review. Well, JT's has redeemed themselves. I've started going back, and my orders have been perfect. The serving staff was always A, but the food has been amazing. They've improved their onion rings, too. The philly cheesecake with onion rings, amazing. I definitely recommend giving them a try. Great staff, great atmosphere, and amazing food. Well done JTS.
Ok to be fair it was late so there weren't a lot of folks there and we were there for karaoke so we didn't eat but the staff was very engaging and the place was nice. The drink were *chef's kiss* Would recommend.
